Nuclear Energy Education Foundation’s Scholarship Program

NEEF’s Scholarship Programs are designed to provide financial assistance to deserving high school, university and college students who demonstrate exceptional academic achievements, leadership potential, and a commitment to making a positive impact in their communities. These scholarships will be awarded to those attending a post-secondary institution of choice and pursuing higher education in fields related to the nuclear energy sector including engineering, chemistry, accounting, law, business, geology, drilling, environmental science, trades and technology. 

Scholarships will be awarded to ten students throughout local communities in May 2026.

Dr. Dennis Stover Chemical Engineering Graduate Fellowship

This fellowship honors Dennis Stover, PhD, a pioneering developer of ISR uranium extraction technology, a process that remains essential to the nuclear industry today. In recognition of his contributions, NEEF  has partnered with the Texas A&M University-Kingsville (“TAMUK”) Frank H. Dotterweich College of Engineering and the Wayne H. King Department of Chemical and Natural Gas Engineering to provide financial support for outstanding graduate students pursuing a master’s degree in chemical engineering.

The Dr. Dennis Stover Fellowship is a merit-based fellowship designed to support students demonstrating academic excellence, leadership potential, and a commitment to advancing engineering and nuclear technologies.
